Bio: Lynn is a 19 year law enforcement veteran having served 16 of those years with the Texas Department of Public Safety. He began as a State Trooper and rose through the ranks to Lieutenant in the Training Operations Division where he oversaw the Leadership and Professional Development Unit. Lynn transitioned out of the agency to become Executive Director of a non-profit for almost two years. He recently rejoined his Texas DPS family as a Leadership Development Specialist where he continues to champion the leadership vision there. He helped implement The Leadership Challenge at DPS as a key development program for the 11,000 commissioned and non-commissioned personnel in the agency. Along with his passion for The Leadership Challenge, he is also a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team member. Additionally, Lynn has served in a variety of church and ministry leadership roles for over thirty years! Lynn is married to his wife Amanda, and have six children. They are passionate advocates of children in foster care.
