Bio: My formal academic background is engineering and I have spent the bulk of my career in the chemical manufacturing sector. While serving as Plant Manager for Kaneka, I realized that I needed to become more people focused and work on my own leadership behaviors. That led me to the Leadership Challenge and my path toward becoming a Certified Master in 2013. Over the past 8 years I have facilitated workshops on four continents and the experience working with other cultures has deepened my understanding and my passion for this work. As an engineer, I focus on "application based" learning to help leaders put the TLC model into practice. In 2020, I expanded my reach into academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at UTSA. Now I am providing workshops and other experiential learning opportunities to graduate and undergraduate engineers as well as my private clients. Whenever I can , I work with non-profit leaders to help them become grounded in a strong leadership philosophy. I am also certified with Wiley in Everything DISC and The Five Behaviors of Cohesive Teams, so my toolbox is full of everything that you may need to develop yourself and your team.
