LPI® 360

Unlock leadership potential with powerful 360° feedback.

What Is the LPI® 360?

The Leadership Practices Inventory® (LPI®) 360 is an observer-based assessment that measures The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®, the acclaimed leadership development model created by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner.

This assessment empowers leaders with real-world feedback to evaluate their leadership competencies. The resulting personalized report serves as a powerful tool for leaders as they embark on their journey toward extraordinary leadership.

Sample Model the Way scores with a composite Self at the top and co-worker – 38 out of 60, manager – 50 out of 60, and direct report – 53 out of 60 scores at the bottom.

By comparing self-perceptions with external viewpoints, the LPI 360 offers a holistic perspective on leadership strengths and areas for growth.

How Does It Work?

Leaders assess their own performance by rating how often they demonstrate 30 proven leadership behaviors. This self-reflection serves as an introduction to the essential behaviors required for effective leadership.

The leader will then request 8-10 observers (managers, peers, direct reports) to rate the leader on the frequency with which they observe each leadership behavior in open-ended essay questions. Ratings remain confidential, except for those from direct managers.

The self-assessment and observer feedback create a comprehensive report on your leader’s strengths, weaknesses, and actionable steps for enhancing leadership effectiveness. This report serves as the foundation for crafting a personalized action plan.
