Leaders begin by taking the LPI 360 assessment. They rate themselves on the frequency with which they exhibit 30 proven leadership behaviors as self-reported and observed by their peers.

The learning culminates in a four-hour facilitator-led, in-person, or virtual training workshop, where the leader is guided through their LPI 360 report to understand their strengths and where they have room to grow.

The Leadership Practices Inventory Debrief Learning Modules

The four-hour Leadership Practices Inventory debrief consists of five learning modules designed for instructor-led facilitation (virtual or in-person). The modules inspire rich conversation and "aha!" moments, bringing the leader's LPI report to life with actionable leadership insights.

Module 1

Orienting the LPI

Leaders explore the research behind The Five Practices model and make connections between the behaviors that the LPI measures and effective leadership.

Module 2

Understanding the Feedback Report

Leaders analyze and interpret their LPI scores by examining the scores of a hypothetical leader.

Module 3

Analyzing Your Feedback

Leaders explore their own Feedback Reports and use the data to develop action plans for becoming better leaders.

Module 4

Focusing on Your Development

Leaders identify their top priorities, develop an action plan for achieving them, and commit to their goals.

Module 5

What’s Next?

Leaders share their LPI feedback learnings with their observers and provide suggestions for ongoing leadership development.
